Two Fish Foods was founded in 2019, inspired by the popular Two Fish Crab Shack in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. The restaurant quickly became a local favorite, known for offering a fun and unique seafood dining experience. Guests flocked to enjoy a variety of seafood, including crab legs and shrimp, paired with corn, potatoes, and bold, flavorful sauces—all served in a convenient boil-in-a-bag format. The concept captured the hearts and taste buds of seafood lovers near and far.

When the pandemic hit, founder Yasmin Curtis saw an opportunity to adapt. With indoor dining restrictions in place, she transformed the restaurant's most popular dishes into frozen seafood boil bags, allowing customers to recreate the signature experience at home. This innovative move not only helped the business survive the challenging period but also introduced Two Fish Foods to a wider national audience. The brand’s signature 3 The Chi-Way sauce became a standout feature, and the frozen boil bags quickly became a go-to for seafood lovers across the country.
